Olympus Browser is distributed from this site only. If you got the file anywhere else, delete it and download it here — the hash below is how you know a file is ours.
For almost every Android phone, you want the first button. It works on Android 8.0 and newer. The second file is only for x86-64 devices (most Chromebooks and emulators) — if you're not sure, pick the first one.

Because Olympus Browser comes from our website instead of an app store, Android will ask you to allow the install once. That's normal — it's the same permission any direct download needs. Here's exactly what you'll see:
Tap the download button above and wait for the file (olympus-browser-3.43-arm64.apk, about 188 MB) to finish. Wi-Fi is a good idea.
Tap the "Download complete" notification, or open your Files/Downloads app and tap the file there.
Android will say installs from this source aren't allowed yet, and offer a Settings button. Tap it, turn on "Allow from this source", then tap Back. You're only allowing your browser to install apps — you can turn it back off afterwards.
Android shows the app name and icon — check it says Olympus Browser with the shield — then tap Install.
That's it. Updates arrive inside the app from then on: Olympus Browser checks this site's update feed, shows you what's new, and installs only when you tap to accept.
A SHA-256 hash is a fingerprint of the file. If your downloaded file's fingerprint matches the one published here, the file is bit-for-bit the build we released — nobody tampered with it on the way to you.
On a computer: put the APK in a folder, open a terminal there, and run sha256sum olympus-browser-3.43-arm64.apk (Linux/macOS) or certutil -hashfile olympus-browser-3.43-arm64.apk SHA256 (Windows). Compare the result with the hash on this page. The app does the same check automatically for its own updates, and refuses to install a file whose hash doesn't match.
